AUTHOR BIOS
K. J. Faulkner writes picture books with strong emotional arcs and child-centered storytelling that linger long after the final page. As an educator and parent, she has seen firsthand how the right story can spark meaningful conversations between children and the adults who read alongside them. She often says that if a classroom read makes it to the dinner table, that is when an author truly earns their wings.
Faulkner’s love of storytelling was inspired by her grandmother, who broke barriers as the first female news editor of The Palatka Daily News and remains a living testament to the power of words.
